Additional information:

Vladislav Yesipenko was tortured after the detention and was not allowed to see an independent lawyer. This became known when Yesipenko had the opportunity to meet with independent lawyers. He reported that he was stripped naked, beaten, and tortured with electric current. According to him, after the Federal Security Service officers planted a grenade in his car during the detention, they forced him to sign the search reports. When he refused, they «put him in a bus, put black glasses and headphones on him» and took him away. They brought him to Bakhchisarai to a basement, undressed him, threw him on the floor, put wires with loops over his ears, and turned on the electric current. They also tested him with a polygraph. According to written explanation, on March 11, after the torture, he testified on the video and signed documents. The Federal State Security officers after torture persuaded the journalist to conclude an agreement with the investigation and write a waiver of lawyers.
