Kievsky District Court of Simferopol arrested the freelancer of the Crimea.Realities project Vladislav Yesipenko for two months. The court hearing was held without the participation of an independent lawyer, in the presence of the court-appointed lawyer Violetta Sineglazova. On March 17, the Crimean lawyer Alexey Ladin was not allowed to see Yesipenko. In total, since the detention, Yesipenko was not allowed to see independent lawyers for 27 days. Esipenko is charged under Article 222.1 (illegal acquisition, transfer, sale, storage, transportation, or carrying of weapons, their main parts and ammunition) and under Article 223.1 (illegal manufacturing of explosives, alteration or repair of explosive devices) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
