The Moscow Central District Court fined Vladislav Voronin, editor-in-chief of the sports publication Sports.ru, 200,000 rubles (2,187 EUR) under the “LGBT propaganda” protocol (part 3 of article 6.21 of the Code of Administrative Offences). He was charged with “propaganda” for an article by Ilya Sobol about the English football club Stonewall, which was founded in 1991 by gay players. After a warning from Roskomnadzor, the article was removed from the website.
