Russian police have detained around 200 people, mostly opposition figures and municipal deputies including journalists at an event in Moscow. Participants from various regions in Russia had gathered to discuss election strategy at the forum organized by the United Democrats project. Among the detainees was Vladislav Postnikov, a correspondent for the Yekaterinburg newspaper 'Vechernie Vedomosti'. Later he was released from the police station.
