The Kirovsky District Court of Yekaterinburg fined the editor-in-chief of the newspaper Vecherniye Vedomosti Vladislav Postnikov RUB 100,000 under Part 1 of Article 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation for «discrediting» the army. Postnikov was punished as an official. The court hearing was held back on June 22. It is unknown in connection with what the report was drawn up. Earlier, Vecherniye Vedomosti had been fined twice under the article on «discrediting» the army.
