Vladimir Neronsky was sentenced to three years of imprisonment in a general regime colony. The judge found the blogger guilty of insulting a public official (Art. 369 of the Criminal Code) and calling for acts that disturb the public order (Art. 342, para. 1 of the Criminal Code). Neronsky’s trial started on 12 January 2021. According to the accusation, he, as an activist of the movement "The Country for Life", organized group actions that grossly disrupted the public order in some cities in collusion with Sergei Tikhanovsky. The instrument of committing the crime was YouTube-channel and Telegram-channel "Country for Life".
