The military court of Uzbekistan sentenced the former correspondent of the Ministry newspaper "Vatanparvar" ("Patriot") Vladimir Kaloshin to 12 years in the colony with a general regime. The trial was held behind closed doors since February 7. The court refused to satisfy the lawyers' petition to change the preventive measure (detention), the term of which, according to the decision of the Tashkent military court of September 21, 2019, expired on December 1, 2019.
