The journalist of the Marneuli radio station Vladimer Chkhitunidze was attacked while covering the protest of the Akelika company employees. An unknown person, who introduced himself as a security guard of the company, tried to snatch the phone from the journalist, forbidding him to film the action «on his territory». The patrol police were called to the scene of the event. The Ministry of Internal Affairs launched an investigation under Article 151 of the Criminal Code of Georgia on the fact of obstruction of journalistic activities.
