Journalist Vlada Verșinin, from Nokta.md, was publicly insulted on April 10, 2024, while filming the protest organized by Evghenia Guțu and Ilan Șor against the visit of President Maia Sandu to Comrat. The First Vice-President of the Executive Committee of Gagauzia Ilya Uzun said that the journalist won't say how much she earns, but "judging by the fact that she is chubby, she earns enough”.
