In the afternoon of December 22, Russian troops shelled a section of a motorway in the Pokrovsky district, wounding two volunteers and photographer Vlada Liberova. Liberova suffered shrapnel wounds. The purpose of her trip was to document the consequences of Russian aggression. A car carrying volunteers from a charity organisation came under fire. Two men were concussed.
