In the Sverdlovsk region, the magistrate of the Krasnoturyinsk Judicial District №2 fined the VK-Media publishing group RUB 1.5 million for anti-war covers of four newspapers under Part 10.1 of Article 13.15 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation (dissemination in mass media as well as in information and telecommunication networks false information under the guise of reliable information about circumstances posing threat to life and security of citizens and (or) about measures on ensuring security of population and territories, methods and ways of protection from the mentioned circumstances). Earlier, Vecherny Krasnoturinsk, Globus (Serov city), Vecherny Karpinsk, and ProSeverouralsk.RU newspapers had had their circulations from March 2 seized by police for their front-page opinions about what was happening in Ukraine.
