The administration of the Volodarsk district of the Volgograd region dismissed Vitaly Korolevsky, acting editor-in-chief of the municipal newspaper Zarya Kaspiya. Together with Korolevsky, the newspaper’s «main creative staff» decided to quit. A week earlier, Korolevsky and his colleagues complained about the pressure and interference in the editorial policy of the district head Hamza Ismukhanov and local officials.
