The traffic police officer stopped the car which Vitaly and his wife Olga were driving and demanded that they get out of the car. A pistol was put to Olga's head. Vitaly was dragged out of the car, beaten, and put on the asphalt. The family was taken to the police department, where a report was drawn up on them on violation of the legislation on mass events (Article 23.34 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Belarus). Then they were transferred to the detention center on Akrestsina street and released about a day after the arrest.
