Viktoria Dmitrenko, a journalist for the TV Channel 'My - Ukraina' was attacked while shooting a report on a shocking murder which took place on the premises of the Shevchenko district court in Kiev. Dmitrenko was attacked by the mother of the murder suspect, who knocked her phone out of her hand and punched her in the face, which was caught on camera as well as being confirmed by witnesses. Dmitrenko contacted the police and filed a report concerning obstruction of journalism and assault.
