Sorokin’s apartment was searched in the case of libel (Article 128.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The blogger, who recently underwent cardiac surgery, was hospitalised with a heart attack. Law enforcers seized equipment, flash drives, and documents related to anti-corruption investigations. Allegedly, the victim in the defamation case is Barabinsky district deputy and Rodina party member Yelena Zubova.
