The apartment where Rau used to live was searched in the criminal case opened in connection with the newspaper’s publications about the war in Ukraine. All «gadgets» were seized, Rau said. Searches were also conducted in the newspaper’s editorial office and in the Moscow apartment of the family of Sergey Mikhailov, the publisher and columnist of Listok. Mikhailov was charged with distribution of «deliberately false information» about the army, motivated by political hatred. A court in Gorno-Altaysk sent him to the pre-trial detention center. Rau is currently abroad.
