In Syktyvkar, unknown assailants attacked a journalist and opposition candidate for deputy Viktor Kokarev at night. Viktor Kokarev was filming a story about how a representative of Rodina, one of the competing parties, pasted over lamp posts with campaign leaflets. At some point, three unknown persons appeared and, without any additional words, purposefully began to spray gas from canisters directly into his face.
