A court in the Leningrad region fined SOTA correspondent and editor of the Telegram channel PYATNITSA Victoria Arefyeva RUB 30,000 under an article on «discrediting» the army (Part 1 of Article 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation). According to the police, Arefyeva covered an anonymous action in the Pugarevsky quarry in Vsevolozhsk: unknown persons installed there 35 wooden crosses with QR codes, which led to publications about the funerals of those killed in the war in Ukraine. The court considered «discrediting» the army that in the publication of the Telegram channel PYATNITSa about the action, the wording «anti-war action» was correlated with a «special military operation».
