The Liozna District Court of the Vitebsk Region has designated the TikTok account “viciebsk.live” (identifier: tiktok.com/@viciebsk.live), which publishes local news, as extremist informational material. On the basis of the court’s decision, the Belarusian Ministry of Information has added this internet resource to the Republican List of Extremist Materials. Under Belarusian law, the distribution and possession of materials deemed extremist entail administrative liability for both publishers and users.
