Blogger Vera Sozinova was fined for hosting and spreading false information on social networks, by order of the Kyzylzhar district court in the North Kazakhstan region. This was because of a post on the Instagram group 'bishkul_city', talking about how the head of the Department of Land relations was prosecuted for cutting down trees. This comes at the same time as a civil servant was punished for failing to fulfil the prosecutor's order, and failing to agree on assignment of a plot of land.
