The Kuntsevsky District Court of Moscow fined Vera Bashmakova, the journalist of the popular science media Biomolecule, RUB 40,000 because of her «No to War» sticker. The journalist was detained on May 23. At the police department, she was charged with «discrediting» the Russian Armed Forces (Part 1 of Article 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation) and released. This is the second administrative punishment imposed on Bashmakova under this article. Previously, she was detained because of an anti-war inscription on her car.
