On February 9, 2023, in Simferopol, employees of the Center for Combating Extremism searched the apartment of a freelance journalist in connection with the fact that his wife had previously posted pro-Ukrainian statements in one of the groups on social networks. As a result of the search, a laptop was seized. The freelancer himself was forced to urgently leave Crimea after that.
