On August 23, a border guard at Tbilisi International Airport denied entry to Vasily Krestyaninov, a photojournalist for The Insider and stringer for Associated Press. The journalist was flying to Tbilisi from Turkey. Border guards refused to let him into the country without giving any reasons.
