On July 24, the head of the Arshaluys community of the Armavir region, Zarzand Grigoryan, filed a lawsuit against the citizen Virab Shahbazyan and Open TV Plus LLC, demanding a refutation of libel, a public apology, and a payment of compensation. The reason for the lawsuit was the program of the Vas TV Internet broadcaster on October 29, 2019, during which Virab Shahbazyan spoke about the lawlessness of Zarzand Grigoryan, in particular, noting that «for 12 years he has been persecuting, robbing and exploiting people, solely heading the village, selling lands at a high price, and the authorities, law enforcement agencies have not been interfering in all this». The lawsuit proceedings were initiated, and the trial was started.
