Late in the evening, KGB officers came to the journalist’s flat, searched it, and confiscated computer equipment and paper data carriers. After the search, Kastsyugova was detained and placed in the temporary detention center on Akrestsina. On July 2, the journalist was transferred to the detention center in Minsk as a defendant in the criminal case. Later, it became known that she was accused of «calls for seizure of power and conspiracy». The details of the criminal case are unknown, as the lawyer is under a non-disclosure undertaking.
