The Russian Ministry of Justice has added journalist and writer Valery Panyushkin to its register of foreign agents. The ministry claims that he participated in the creation of materials for a “foreign agent,” disseminated false information about the authorities, and spread false information aimed at creating a negative image of the army. In addition, Panyushkin spoke out against the military operation in Ukraine, according to the Ministry of Justice.
