Southern District Military Court sentenced blogger Valery Klimenchenko to four years and one month in a general regime colony in the case of justification of terrorism (Part 2 of Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and insulting authorities (Article 319 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). In 2018, Klimenchenko published a post on VKontakte social media about the explosion in the Arkhangelsk Federal Security Service department, as well as two posts about police officers.
