The Golovinsky District Court of Moscow has approved the investigators’ request to arrest in absentia Dozhd TV (TV Rain) presenters Ekaterina Kotrikadze and Valeria Ratnikova. In September, both were added to the wanted list on charges of disseminating “false information” about the Russian army motivated by political hatred (clause “d” of part 2 of Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code) and failing to comply with the obligations of a “foreign agent” (part 2 of Article 330.1 of the Criminal Code). Earlier, similar criminal cases were initiated against other Dozhd staff members, including editor-in-chief Tikhon Dzyadko and presenter Anna Mongayt.
