The Shchuchynsky District Court of the Hrodna Region sentenced Hrodna-based blogger Vadzim Yermashuk (Vadimati) to three years in prison. The court found the blogger guilty under two criminal articles: insulting Aliaksandr Lukashenka (Article 368 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus) and abuse of state symbols (Article 370 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belaryus). At the trial, Yermashuk refused to testify and plead not guilty.
