The Pushkinsky District Court in St Petersburg has fined journalist and LGBT activist Vadim Vaganov 40 000 roubles (€440) for failing to apply to be included on the register of “foreign agents” under Part 1 of Article 19.34 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation. The Ministry of Justice added Vaganov to this register in November 2024.
