The Fergana City Administrative Court found journalist Usmonjon Kodirov guilty of offences under article 54, part 1 (violation of the rules for combating epidemics), article 183 (minor hooliganism) and article 194, part 1 (failure to comply with the legal requirements of the internal affairs officer) of the Code on Administrative Liability. The real reason was his post on Facebook about physicians' involvement in the decorative work for the President's arrival. He was arrested for 15 days. On May 29, Kodirov was released as his arrest was shortened to two days.
