The Uralsk court is hearing a lawsuit brought by the founder of Birlik LLP Elmira Koneyeva against the editorial board of the newspaper Uralskaya Nedelya and its publisher Press Nedelya LLP. The reason for the lawsuit was the article by correspondent Maria Dracheva «Yunost stadium in Uralsk has been without skating equipment for four years» (Uralskweek.kz, 23.05.2022), prepared under the official report of Kaimen Yesendiyarov, Head of the West Kazakhstan Region Sports Department. The lawsuit claims are to oblige the defendants to publish a refutation and recover the compensation for the moral and material damage caused.
