Last weekend, a number of journalists and bloggers were summoned to the investigation department of the State Security Service and warned about the consequences of articles about the events in Ukraine. Umid Shermukhammedov, the founder and head of the online media Kun.uz, was summoned for interrogation by the State Security Service. During the interrogation, representatives of the State Security Service demanded to cover the events in a «restrained and neutral manner». Three employees of the media were also summoned for questioning, their names have not been disclosed by the media. Umid Shermukhammedov subsequently deleted his social network post about the fact of his summons to the State Security Service.
