The editorial office of Ulysmedia.kz received a claim from the Republican Chamber of Private Bailiffs demanding to refute the materials prepared according to the official press release of the Prosecutor General’s Office and the supervisory body’s response to the editorial board’s request. With numerous references to articles of the Mass Media Law, the author of the letter, Mr. Aringazinov, Deputy Chairman of the Chamber, reminded journalists of their responsibility for disseminating information defaming honour and dignity, libel, and knowingly false information that creates a danger of disturbing public order or causing substantial harm to the rights and legitimate interests of citizens or organisations or to the legally protected interests of society or the state.
