The journalist Ulukbek Karybek uulu said on his Facebook page that three unknown people in Jeti-Oguz District kidnapped him. According to the journalist, he and his friends went on vacation to Issyk-Kul and stopped in Kok-Zhaiyk gorge. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Ulukbek Maripov met with residents affected by the flood. The journalist made several videos with comments on local problems and criticism of the Prime Minister. At that time, according to the journalist, three aggressive men approached him and demanded to leave. When he refused, they forced him into a car and took him away in the direction of Karakol city. There, during a stop, the journalist managed to get out and escape from his kidnappers.
