After an unscheduled inspection in August, the regional office of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation fined the TV channel TVK 155,000 rubles (2,005 USD), and its general director, Tatiana Korotchenko, 6,000 rubles (77 USD). The examination was based on a complaint by a resident of the house where the TV channel's studio is located. It became known later, that there was no resident with such a name in the house and that the report of Ministry of Emergency Situations contained a non-existent phone number.
