On the election day, unknown individuals physically attacked the TV Pirveli camera crew at the 16th precinct in Kvemo Khodasheni, Telavi municipality. The cameraman was beaten, and the crew's equipment was completely destroyed. Despite the damage, the journalist managed to send some footage before the equipment was rendered unusable. The crew had been filming the distribution of money by unknown individuals, allegedly to buy votes.
