The family of Irakli Gharibashvili is suing "TV First" in court. The chairman of "Georgian Dream" demands that the information published in "Nodar Meladze Shabbat " be recognised as defamation. On April 6, 2024, the program "Nodar Meladze's Saturday " aired on "TV First", a story according to which the former Prime Minister's father, Tariel Gharibashvili, had neither business nor property in 2023. However, later, as it was said in the "TV First" story, he signed 2 important contracts, including one with a French company. These contracts will bring him more than 2 million GEL per year.
