On 28 August, citizen Armine Karapetyan filed a lawsuit with the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction against the television company A TV, demanding the removal from social media of insulting and defamatory information concerning her that damages her honour, dignity and business reputation. The grounds for the claim were statements made by the claimant’s mother about her during the television programme “Semi-Open Windows”, which was posted on the broadcaster’s YouTube channel on 3 May. In responding to these statements, the studio guests also levelled accusations against Armine Karapetyan. The case is currently under consideration.
