Five former journalists of the Business News program complained to the Georgian Charter of Journalistic Ethics and explained that at the end of 2019 and beginning of 2020 (when Maestro TV company was part of the Imedi holding), Nikoloz Laliashvili told the program staff several times that he did not like the critical reporting about the authorities of the country. At the same time, he «practically gave directives on what the program should be like and in whose interests the whole editorial staff should work». On February 28, the Business News program aired for the last time, and the team left the Maestro TV channel.
