On January 29, hackers carried out a massive DDoS attack on two websites of the state-owned enterprise International Broadcasting Multimedia Platform of Ukraine — the website of the TV channel FREEDOM and the digital news aggregator FREEDOM. The TV channel’s website received several million requests, but continued to work without interruption. The digital news aggregator received more than 180 million requests and was partially inaccessible for two hours in the countries from which the attack originated. At the same time, the TV channel’s broadcasts worked without any disruptions.
