The national regulator reviewed the materials of the monitoring of the air of TV channel 112 Ukraine and applied two sanctions to the licensee — warnings and a fine in the amount of 25% of the license fee for dissemination on its air of statements containing calls to unleash aggressive war or its propaganda and/or incitement of national, racial or religious hatred and hostility. On February 1, at a specially assembled extraordinary meeting, the National Council of Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine reversed its own decision to impose fines and warn TV channel 112.
