On November 9, a decision was made on a new lawsuit to protect the honour, dignity and business reputation of the Republican State Institution «Department of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service Affairs in the Abai Region». The lawsuit was filed against Total Media Qazaqstan LLP (owner of Total.kz) and the author of the article «Urankhayev & Zhazykbayev: how to cover the wife of the Akim?» Vasily Smirnov. If in the first lawsuit, the Department demanded to refute the fragment of the article about the road accident involving the wife of the district Akim, in the new claim, the plaintiff demanded to recognise the disputed fragment as not corresponding to reality. The court refused to satisfy the claims of the Department.
