On September 1, the cameraman of Khabar 24 Tolegen Imanov was filming an incident involving smoke in an inoperable lift shaft in the cardiology centre of the Multidisciplinary Regional Hospital in Petropavlovsk. The journalist was approached by a woman in a white coat who demanded that he stop filming, claiming that filming was not allowed in hospital premises (the journalist was filming in the courtyard of the hospital at the time). She tried to kick Imanov out, demanded to see his security clearance, and asked who had called the press. The woman introduced herself as a hospital employee. Then she left and no one obstructed the journalist’s work further. Later, it turned out that the woman was not an employee of the hospital.
