The court fined the deputy editor-in-chief of Yakutia.Info Timofey Yefremov. He was penalized for his comments on TV Rain about the September 25 protest by female residents of Yakutia against mobilization: the journalist said «you can’t send a woman to the front», whereas, according to the court, he should have used the term «line of contact» instead of «front», since Russia is running a «special operation», not a war. The court also considered Yefremov’s words that «not everyone likes» the mobilization, and he himself «does not understand the motive of the conflict at all» as «undermining trust» to the army.
