The Osipovichi District Court of Mogilev Region has recognised the TikTok account @svaboda_news (identifier: tiktok.com/@svaboda_news?_t=ZM-8uG5jqdPTOB&_r=1) as extremist informational material. The resource presents itself as “News from Radio Svaboda. Uncensored.” On the basis of the court’s decision, the Belarusian Ministry of Information added this online resource to the Republican List of Extremist Materials. Under Belarusian law, the distribution and storage of materials deemed extremist entail administrative liability for both publishers and users.
