The Partizansky District Court of Minsk has designated the content of the TikTok account “Realnaya Belarus” (tiktok.com/@realna_belarus) as extremist informational material. The page publishes “real news from Belarus and beyond” and has nearly 11,000 followers. Following the court’s decision, the Ministry of Information of Belarus has added the online resource to the Republican List of Extremist Materials. Under Belarusian law, the distribution and storage of materials deemed extremist entail administrative liability for both publishers and users.
