The Leninsky District Court of Mogilev has recognised the TikTok account “ChestnOK-LIVE” (identifier: @chestnok_live) as extremist informational material. It is an online resource belonging to journalist and blogger Alexander Ivulin, where he talks about well-known Belarusians. On the basis of the court’s decision, the Belarusian Ministry of Information has added the online resource to the Republican List of Extremist Materials. Under Belarusian law, the distribution and storage of materials deemed extremist entail administrative liability for both publishers and users.
