The Leninsky District Court of Brest has recognised the account of the online publication “Zerkalo” on the social network Threads (zerkalo_io, identifier: threads.com/@zerkalo_io) as extremist information material. Based on the court’s decision, the Belarusian Ministry of Information has added this internet resource to the Republican list of extremist materials. Under Belarusian law, the dissemination and possession of materials deemed extremist carry administrative liability for both publishers and users.
