In the Central District Court of Simferopol, correspondents of the Crimean Process and Crimean Solidarity were denied access to the announcement of the verdict in absentia against the Crimean Tatar activist Edem Bekirov. Before that, the entire trial was open, but no one was allowed to the announcement of the verdict. The judge of the Central District Court of Simferopol Sergey Demenok announced the verdict against Edem Bekirov in absentia in his office.
